**This post represents my opinion alone and facts from 4Ocean website**
Hi all! I recently found out about this company called 4Ocean. Their mission is to remove plastic from our oceans. If you know anything about me, you know how hard I am trying to eliminate the use of excessive plastic in my own life. So I love supporting companies like this one.

About 4Ocean
This is a company started by two surfers who, during a surfing trip to Bali, they saw a huge amount of plastic in the ocean around the area where fishermen were working. They realized all that plastic was impacting the ocean environment and the fishermen’s livelihood. to help, they started 4Ocean to clean the ocean and coastal lines. They started making and selling bracelets made out of recycled material they collected. For each bracelet they sell, they commit to removing 1 lb of trash from the oceans. So far they have removed over 4 million lbs of trash from the ocean and coastal lines across the world. That number changes every day! You can check their updated number on their about page. This indicates total removal removal of trash, not just from selling bracelets. They remove trash whether they sell bracelets or not.
The name 4Ocean comes from the 4 pillars used to clean the oceans and coastlines. These 4 pillars are:
- Optimizing Technology : they use the latest technology to remove trash from the oceans
- Create Jobs: they employ crews to clean the oceans 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Education and Awareness: they educate corporation, governments and individuals on the negative impacts of plastic in the ocean and host cleanups all over the world so people can understand the severity of the issue.
- New Global Economies: their work is helping create a new economy for the removal of trash.

The Bracelets:
One of their ways to raise money for their mission is by selling bracelets that are made 100% out of recycled material. Each bracelet costs $20 and every time you buy a bracelet they commit to removing 1 lb of trash from the ocean. How amazing is that?!
They have tons of different colors of bracelets and each bracelet supports a different marine life. The one I purchased was the Coral Reef Bracelet. This bracelet not only supports the removal of 1 lb of trash, it also partners with Coral Restoration Foundation to protect and restore coral reef ecosystems.

My boyfriend got the Shark Bracelet which partners with Project Aware to save sharks! He has recently gone to South Africa and did shark diving, so he has been all about sharks lately :).

You can find their many different bracelets on their site and chose what you would like to support! You can also sign up for a monthly subscription where they send you the bracelet of the month.
I hope you enjoyed this post and that this will motivate you to support 4Ocean or find another company that also helps clean the environment.
If you know of any similar organizations to this one please leave a comment below. Or if you have gotten a bracelet, please share with me which one you got and why you chose that one!
Have a great day!

What a great company! I have the blue ocean bracelet and love it! It is comfortable to wear and easy to put on and off. I pray that this inspires everyone to do their part in saving our earth 🌍. If everyone just bought one bracelet, what a difference it would make! Great blog Jules ❤️!
