Hi, my name is Juliana but you can call me Jules

This is my very first time doing this! So hang in there with me as I learn the art of writing a blog.

The name Julesicle comes from a play on words with Jules and Popsicle.

And that’s because my day job is being an ice cream developer! I work on developing new flavors for ice cream and water ice pops, and I LOVE it! I have a bachelors degree in food engineering and a masters degree in Food Science.

Lately I have grown a passion for sustainability and for finding products that are not bad for the environment. In this blog I am looking to review products from brands that contribute to a cause. I also have a passion for reading so I will post on what I am currently reading. My faith in Jesus has always been priority in my life, so I will be sharing what God has been teaching me through his Word.

1. I am originally from Brazil but have been living in the USA since 2006.
2. I have lived in Michigan, Atlanta and New Jersey.
3. I am Christian and my faith is very important to me.
4. When I moved to NJ I learned to dance Ballroom, specifically International Latin.
5. I love spending time with my friends and family
6. I am a huge fan of reading, coloring, and board games (super relaxing!)
7. Rosé/Blush is my favorite color. It’s more of an obsession!
8. I make ice cream for a living, but I am extremely lactose intolerant
9. I love watching the World Cup, but that is the only soccer match I watch
10. I am a 2 wing 3 on the enneagram.
